Any time a Lamborghini Super Veloce is revealed, it\u2019s a banner day both in the automotive world, and automotive history. With the reintroduction of the name for the Lamborghini LP 750-4 Super Veloce (SV) in Geneva, we knew we\u2019d be witnessing the reveal of a very rare vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, Lamborghini revealed that just 600 units of the coupe (no roadster version has been announced, and if history has any bearing, chances are it will never be) will roll out of the factory in the small Italian town of Sant\u2019Agata Bolognese. It appears that Lamborghini is doing its best to up the exclusivity factor after the limited release of vehicles like the McLaren P1, Porsche 918 Spyder and Ferrari LaFerrari. Yes, the price tag looks pretty tame compared to the others, but that shouldn\u2019t take anything away from the fact that this is the most powerful Lamborghini sold by the manufacturer.<\/p>\n

In the European market, 327,190 Euros will get you a base model, while in the US, be prepared to lighten your wallet by almost $500 grand if you want to grab one of these bad boys, which translates to about $600 grand here in Canada.<\/p>\n

The SV will be one of the most exclusive Aventador models relased to date, joining last year\u2019s 50th<\/sup> Anniversary special on the rarity scale.<\/p>\n

In the case of the SV, we\u2019re talking about a car that\u2019s been lightened by 50 kilograms, with a 50 horsepower jump in the power department. 0-100 km\/h should take a claimed 2.8 seconds (two-point eight seconds!<\/em>\u00a0Remember when the 3.6-second sprint done by the McLaren F1 was impressive?), with the top speed being rated at 350 km\/h. In order to restrain all that grunt, Lamborghini\u2019s aerodynamicists have managed to increase downforce by 170 per cent.<\/p>\n

Future owners (surely of the well-heeled variety) will be taking delivery of the 2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV later this spring.<\/p>\n
