Do not skimp on the quality, and if you doubt that your present tires are still effective and in good condition, replace them before the first snow.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, it is wise to replace your summer wipers with models suited to winter, in order to ensure better visibility. And speaking of visibility, before leaving home in the morning after a storm, make sure you remove as much snow as possible from your vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Slowing down on the road<\/p>\n<p>Many forget this very important piece of advice. They think they know their vehicle well, and forget that ice can strike at any time, even if the road seems clear. Regardless of road conditions, it is important to slow down in winter. This will give you more flexibility when you need to slow down or when approaching a curve which could be more slippery than you think.<\/p>\n<p>Being prepared<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s important to be prepared in winter.
