We all remember the dreaded parallel parking test when we took our driver\u2019s license evaluation. Even after many years of driving, a lot of drivers still don\u2019t like to parallel park. Practice makes perfect in almost everything, and that also applies to parking sideways, so we\u2019ll leave you to actual practice instead of explaining the theory behind a perfect parallel parking job.<\/p>\n

\"Active<\/a><\/p>\n

On the other hand, there are a few other tips and tricks that can help you when parking. Here are three of them.<\/p>\n

Back into the parking spot<\/strong><\/p>\n

Backing into your parking spot will actually be easier than going in with the front-end first. That\u2019s because the car rotates around the back wheels which allows you to cut the angles a lot closer. Moreover, it will be a lot easier for you to leave your parking spot, and safer too.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t park too close to other vehicles<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you want to avoid dings on your doors or damaged bumpers, don\u2019t park too close to other vehicles. You also may want to avoid parking near vehicles that are old or already damaged. Look at the vehicle you are parking next to. If it has its own dents and scratches, you may want to find a newer car which a less reckless driver.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget the emergency brake<\/strong><\/p>\n

When parking on a hill, don\u2019t forget to put the emergency brake. Also, make sure you turn your wheels away from the road in case the car begins to roll.<\/p>\n
