The 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography was unveiled just ahead of the 2017 Los Angeles International Auto Show and proclaims itself as a new benchmark in the ultra-luxurious SUV world. This new product coming straight out of JLR\u2019s Special Vehicles division pushes the limits of luxury to another level. Every unit will be hand-finished at the SVO Technical Centre in Warwickshire, UK and comes with a hefty price tag starting at $207,900 US dollars.<\/p>\n

\"2018<\/a><\/p>\n

Among the copious amounts of refinements that one can enjoy in this new SUV is a fully redesigned cabin containing automatic closing rear doors, reclining \u201cairline-style\u201d seats that have massaging capabilities and a refrigerator located in between the two rear seats that can contain two bottles of wine. Moreover, the cabin includes two 10\u201d touchscreen units for the rear passengers. Both screens offer high-tech features, such as the possibility of swiping information from one screen to the other.<\/p>\n

The SVAutobiography is powered by a 5.0 Litre supercharged V8 that produces a healthy 557 horsepower, which is channeled to the wheels via a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. On the numbers side, this powerplant can move the heavy luxury SUV from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in a time of 5.2 seconds.<\/p>\n

The 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography is the poshest Ranger Rover to date, catering to a very specific clientele. It will be available to north American customers in the first months of 2018.<\/p>\n
