Lincoln\u2019s MKC was introduced for the 2015 model year back in the summer of 2014. I remember it fondly as the launch event changed my life. But that\u2019s a story for another time. The compact luxury CUV has had quite the impact on the brand, positioning itself not only as a serious conquest vehicle but as the number 1 seller in very important and lucrative China.<\/p>\n

\"2019<\/a><\/p>\n

For 2019, Lincoln\u2019s upped the ante with the facelifted and revised 2019 MKC. Styling-wise, the little ute sports the new corporate grille that does wonders for its street cred. The signature grille includes LED headlights. The rear\u2019s received a few touch-ups, namely some chrome. These aesthetic efforts should be enough to entice more consumers, especially women, into picking out the vehicle. The cabin is relatively unchanged however a battery of new safety features are now on the menu.<\/p>\n

Powering the facelifted 2019 Lincoln MKC is a pair of turbocharged 4-cylinder engines. The 2.0-litre produces 245-horsepower while the 2.3-litre is good for 285 horsepower and 305 lb.-ft. of torque. Both are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and AWD.<\/p>\n

As important as the vehicle itself is what Lincoln will do for its new customers. Through the Lincoln Way app, owners will be able access a personal concierge, schedule pick-up and delivery and more. Lincoln\u2019s intent is to give their customers what is most precious to them, time.<\/p>\n

Pricing is not yet available but expect it to be in the vicinity of the 2018\u2019s, or about $44,000 for the base version.<\/p>\n
