We all know how to wash a car. For many, it\u2019s actually a nice way to spend a sunny weekend afternoon. That said, it is sometimes frustrating, especially when our car\u2019s exterior is a darker color, to notice that our vehicle still seems dirty even after we are done washing it.<\/p>\n

Regardless, there are several steps that we can follow to ensure that our vehicle shines when we are done cleaning,\u201d says a detailing specialist at Camco Acura<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

If we want to get that new-car shine, here are a few important tips to follow.<\/p>\n

Properly rinse the vehicle at the beginning<\/p>\n

The car must be rinsed thoroughly before you start, making sure to wash under the car and also inside the wheels. It\u2019s also important that the car be wet before you start cleaning.<\/p>\n

Make sure your sponge or mitt is clean<\/p>\n

Ideally, clean the car with a mitt that is specifically designed for that purpose, and make sure it is clean. If you use a sponge, it should also be spotless and not have any of the dirt of the previous wash in it.<\/p>\n

Use a quality product<\/p>\n

Some will say that the soap you use is of little importance. That\u2019s true to a certain extent, but you must still make sure that whatever you use to wash your car will not leave spots or be too greasy.<\/p>\n

Use a good chamois<\/p>\n

A quality chamois will ensure that there aren\u2019t any spots after you are done drying the vehicle. Moreover, a good chamois will be able to last a lifetime. It is important to clean the chamois before use.<\/p>\n

Wash your vehicle in the shade<\/p>\n
