Good folks they are at Chrysler\u2014sorry, \u201cFiat Chrysler Automobiles\u201d\u2014though, they\u2019ve decided to give us one anyway: the good folks over at VVUZZ report that today, at the Detroit Auto Show, among all the talk of turbocharged this and hybrid that, we are going to get a Hellcat-powered Jeep Grand Cherokee. That\u2019s right: for what we\u2019re sure will be only a few dollars more over the Overland and Summit models, you\u2019ll be able to have a truck that can go off-roading one day, and 0-60 in less than 4 seconds the next, with help from a bellowing, supercharged V8 engine.<\/p>\n<p>While it\u2019s a little later than some expected\u2014there was talk of a Hellcat-powered Grand Cherokee Trackhawk edition around this time last year\u2014we\u2019re pretty sure you\u2019ll agree that the \u201cbetter late than never\u201d adage fits well in this instance.<\/p>\n<p>Watch this space for more news on the Jeep to destroy all Jeeps.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We may not need it.
