Coincidentally\u2014or perhaps not so much so\u2014the \u201cGTS\u201d nomenclature itself continues to grow at Porsche; the Cayenne marks the fourth model after the Cayman, Boxster and 911 to wear the badge.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/luxurycarmagazine.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_3488-1280x853.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-627 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/luxurycarmagazine.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_3488-1280x853.jpg\" alt=\"2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/luxurycarmagazine.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_3488-1280x853.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/luxurycarmagazine.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_3488-1280x853-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/luxurycarmagazine.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_3488-1280x853-1024x682.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>(Los Angeles, CA)\u00a0<\/strong>Gone is the naturally-aspirated V8, replaced by a twin-turbo V6 good for 440 hp (up 20 on last year\u2019s model) and 443 lb.-ft. of torque (a gain of 37 lb.-ft.). The loss of two cylinders, meanwhile, helps scrub 730 kg off the GTS\u2019 curb weight. That means it should handle even better than the outgoing model, which was an able handler in its own right.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the Cayenne\u2019s \u201cI know it shouldn\u2019t handle like this, but it does\u201d chops are larger brake rotors shared with the Cayenne Turbo (whose model name seems less special now, what with all this turbocharging going on at Porsche) and specially-tuned active PASM suspension.<\/p>\n<p>To help differentiate the GTS from the rest of the ever-expanding Cayenne line-up, special black wheels, red brake calipers, body coloured sill, spoiler and wheel arch extensions, and matte black tailpipes come as standard. Elements of the front fascia are also shared with the Cayenne Turbo.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, the red theme continues on the seat stitching and tachometer, where it\u2019s joined by carbon fibre. Lots of carbon fibre. It\u2019s on the steering wheel. It surrounds the shift lever (all Cayenne GTS come with a seven-speed auto). It\u2019s on the driver and passenger hand holds and it\u2019s on the door pulls. Of course, this being 2015, you\u2019re no performance car if you don\u2019t have lots of carbon fibre, but they really layed it on thick, here, to the point where it seems like an aftermarket conversion.<\/p>\n<p>No matter;
