How to properly wash your vehicle’s exterior

Properly rinse the vehicle at the beginning

Make sure your sponge or mitt is clean

Ideally, clean the car with a mitt that is specifically designed for that purpose, and make sure it is clean. If you use a sponge, it should also be spotless and not have any of the dirt of the previous wash in it.

Use a quality product

Some will say that the soap you use is of little importance. That’s true to a certain extent, but you must still make sure that whatever you use to wash your car will not leave spots or be too greasy.

Use a good chamois

A quality chamois will ensure that there aren’t any spots after you are done drying the vehicle. Moreover, a good chamois will be able to last a lifetime. It is important to clean the chamois before use.

If you are washing in the sun, your vehicle will dry as you are washing it, creating spots everywhere.
