780 HP under the hood of the Carlsson CS 40

After Brabus, it was time for Carlsson to present their high-performance model, based on the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It was worth the wait, as the new S-Class Carlsson, known as the CS 40, surpasses both the Brabus and AMG in performance.

Whether you’re the owner of an S550 or a 2014 S63 AMG, Carlsson is able to diabolically crush the power of your Mercedes-Benz. After modifications, the 4.6L V8 engine of the S550 jumps from 449-horsepower to 610 hp, with 663 lb-ft of torque. The S63 AMG’s twin turbo V8 engine leaps to 780-horsepower and 774 lb-ft of power. It’s 50 hp more than the S-Class that was modified by Brabus.

The exterior can be combined with an aggressively-styled aerodynamic package, and the buyer can choose between 19 or 21-inch wheels. The cabin can also be modified to suit the taste of the new owner. Inside, the choices are incalculable. Basically, you can design the interior of your CS 40 as you see fit.
